Some people have no idea what it feels like to care about something so much. Snowboarding is a lifestyle that, in comparison to the human population, only a few really understand and live. Snowboarding is a passion, an addiction, that I can’t get enough of. It gives me a high nothing else can. It gives me adrenaline rushes, pain, good days and bad, frustration, fear and accomplishment. I love every aspect of it and, unlike some things and people in my life, I’ll never get sick of it. It’s a constant progression.

I love snowboarding and I think the world should know. Some people around me are sick of hearing about how much I love it, so this is my attempt to tell new people. I have a weakness for adrenaline rushes and aim to find some in the summer time. I’m Pam, a web + print designer. I freelance on the side and hold an awesome job at an internet retailer. I love what I do, both the design stuff and the snowboarding.

Pretty much since I started riding, I’ve also been teaching too. In February 2005 I received my AASI Level 1 certification. Soon I’ll be on to my Level 2. I ride at a small, New York mountain called Mount Peter. And when I say small, I’m not kidding. The vertical is like 500 feet, not challenging at all, but that is what makes it a learning mountain, one of the best around. That’s why I take every opportunity to ride bigger east coast mountains. Eventually my goal is to get away from the East Coast ice, move West to the mountains and ride good snow.
