Colorado Is Open For Business

Loveland and A-Basin have tied for opening day. Those lucky enough that live out there better appreciate it. And the video posted on EXPN.com shows it was fun. For October 15 both resorts were reporting an 18-inch base. I probably won’t experience the phenomenon of winter till late December, unless I take an early season trip somewhere. They both only had 1 lift open, but that’s enough for me. So for those of you who are missing out, watch this.

Winter Park had their FIRST SNOWFALL ALREADY!

Seriously, it’s not fair that the west gets all the good stuff. A light dusting already, but it comes fast out there. Check out Winter Park’s white peaks. This year I’m hoping funds will allow me to go riding in either Colorado or Utah. Any other good spots that aren’t crowded that anybody knows of?

I’m serious about the snowboarding vacation. I’d like to go to Utah, but I heard Oregon was super fun, uncrowded at some times and cheap, which is why I’m interested.
